History for different Age Groups

We aim to engage people of all ages and backgrounds in history and heritage.

We have fun workshops, games and activities for younger students through to exam preparation in secondary school. Adults can join us on a wacky tour of Worthing or discover Lost Brighton during one of our evening walks.

Young Children

We can offer a fun introduction to history for younger children including plays, workshops, songs and games.

Primary School Age

The Retro Roadshow
An outdoor workshop, performed from our mobile learning unit, the History Machine, involving a general introduction to history for all ages with songs, games and activities.

Yester-Dave
An educational children’s entertainer who is a very unsuccessful time traveller but teaches the basics of history in a comedic way as he constantly fails to travel back to the past.

Histor-Ian
This man has amazing powers and turns himself into a man from any age during this workshop, becoming VictorIan, EgyptIan etc!

Mister History
Encourages all children to focus on what they would need to time travel to a certain period.

INSET and Parent-Student Sucess Evenings
We help to prepare KS4 students for exams by encouraging them to show what they know and take on their parents at GCSE exam tasks!
